Apple Arcade Latest update: 32 games added like NBA 2K21 plus some classics

Highlights:

  • Apple Arcade made its biggest upgrade since it first launched in 2019.
  • Apple is adding a number of high-profile mobile hits to the service.
  • This raises Apple Arcade’s catalogue to over 180 games, and you can enjoy them all on iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple TV devices.

This brings Apple’s gaming catalog to over 180 games, with new titles still arriving each week. The service also added two new categories players can peruse — App Store Greats and Timeless Classics.

The new titles include Fantasian as well as Wonderbox: The Adventure Maker from Aquiris. It also includes NBA 2K21, one of the first games to come over from consoles.

Apple Arcade is also now offering a three-month free trial of the service when you buy a new Apple device. Otherwise, if you’re signing up for Apple Arcade for the first time, you can still get the one-month free trial.

While most Arcade games are playable across Apple TV, Mac, and iOS, these new categories will only work on iPhone and iPad.
